Congratulations to the winners of The Society of the Golden Keys Concierge Awards 2023!

More than 200 leading concierge, members of the hotel community and sponsors gathered at the Kimpton Fitzroy London for The Society of the Golden Keys of Great Britain & the Commonwealth Awards 2023. Proceedings were led by Toru Machida, President of the Society of the Golden Keys.


And The Winners Are:
  • Young Concierge of the Year, sponsored by Tootbus London - Tom Wardley, Head Concierge, The Londoner Hotel.

  • The London Award, sponsored by Golden Tours - Daniel Bethel, Senior Concierge, The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel.

  • Regional Award, sponsored by American Express Travel – Alan McDougall FIH, Head Concierge, Crowne Plaza Glasgow.

  • Service Through Friendship Award, sponsored by Big Bus Tours London – Binoy Nair, Head Concierge, St James’ Court Hotel.

  • Concierge Choice Restaurant of the Year sponsored by The Tourism Media Group – Coya Mayfair.

  • Business Affiliate of the Year, sponsored by The Society of the Golden Keys of Great Britain & the Commonwealth - Air Courier International Ltd.

The winners of the Concierge Awards, proposed by their general managers, were measured on their active involvement and support of the Society, their contribution to training and development and social responsibility towards charitable initiatives and the environment.

Daniel Bethel, this year's winner of London Concierge of the Year, was awarded a one-year membership for the Institute of Hospitality.


This gives him access to a comprehensive array of educational resources, networking events, workshops, and industry insights.






Tom Wardley receives his award from Gavin Brooking, Managing Director, Tootbus London

Winner of the Young Concierge of the Year Award, Tom Wardley, receives a sponsored space, including his registration fee and airfare, to attend the next International Congress in Bali and represent Great Britain in the International Young Concierge of the Year Competition.
