New Hotel Openings for 2024

London's ever-evolving hospitality landscape is set to welcome a series of new luxury hotels, each promising an unparalleled experience of refined extravagance. We unveil ten of the most-anticipated establishments.

The Mandarin Orient Mayfair - due to open in spring 2024.
1. Mandarin Oriental Mayfair

The Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London is the latest hotel to join the Group's acclaimed collection of award-winning properties and will offer a unique taste of urban luxury in the heart of London. Situated on Hanover Square, the hotel will provide a calming, discreet sanctuary for hotel guests, while delivering a contemporary and vibrant atmosphere in the public spaces where the Mayfair community - a crossroads for the world of fashion, media, art and business - will gather to experience the brand’s legendary service. It will also feature a new restaurant from chef Akira Back.

2. Six Senses London

Six Senses London will open with 110 guest rooms and suites and 14 branded residences offering access to the hotel’s facilities and all the privileges that come with a Six Senses home, including bespoke interior design, concierge service, dining, housekeeping and wellness programming. There’s a cosy lobby bar and lounge, an all-day dining restaurant with an open kitchen and a seating area in the courtyard. In a space reminiscent of an old-fashioned London underground station, Six Senses Spa will mirror the different energies of the city life, from the sensory stimulation and movement of the street to the stillness and calm of a quiet café or park. Highlights include 3,500 square feet dedicated to fitness, a 65-foot indoor swimming pool, the Alchemy Bar, and a relaxation room with vaulted ceilings.

The Emory Rooftop is simply stunning.
3. The Emory

Dubbed a living landmark - a modern masterwork by the late Lord Richard Rogers, along with Ivan Harbour - this luxurious hotel is the essence of low-key luxury and modernist quietude. Accessed from a discreet Belgravia laneway, The Emory's signature ‘sails’ soar over the treetops of Hyde Park. This establishment presents 60 extraordinary suites and a spectacular penthouse; all with floor-to-ceiling views.

4. St. Regis London

The St. Regis brand continues to expand its global portfolio by adding this highly sought-after address in Mayfair. A £90 million pound redevelopment will transform the former Westbury Mayfair Hotel. The hotel is expected to open with 196 elegant rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, speakeasy jazz bar, fitness centre and spa.The St. Regis London will honour the building’s heritage by retaining the iconic Polo Bar, originally designed for the Phipps family of America, avid polo players and creators of the Westbury Hotel in New York and London.

5. Park Hyatt

Park Hyatt London River Thames is perfect for discerning travellers looking for an authentic London experience and a comfortable stay that feels like home. The stunning river views, signature Charlie Whinney pieces and convenient location in the heart of London makes it an ideal launchpad to explore the city, with nearby attractions like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tate Britain, Battersea Park, Sloane Square and Kings Road.

6. The Chancery Rosewood

The Chancery Rosewood, in partnership with renowned real estate developer Qatari Diar, is set to open in 2025 in London’s prestigious Mayfair District. Housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, the Grade II listed building is currently being reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield of David Chipperfield Architects as a new retail destination and hotel. It will include 146 spacious guest rooms and suites designed by Joseph Dirand, publicly accessible spaces including a variety of formal and casual dining and entertainment spaces, and a Yabu Pushelberg designed Asaya wellbeing facility to provide guests with a retreat from the busy streets of London. Five flagship retail spaces and a grand ballroom will provide ample space for social activities.

7. The Newman

Described by the owners as "your new old friend" The Newman is said to be independent and individual and will welcome guests "in no uncertain terms". One to look out for in 2025, The Newman fits effortlessly into the existing neighbourhood of Fitzrovia, a creative village in the heart of the city.

8. Sircle London

The first hotel launched by the brand, Sircle London will house an 81-room hotel, yoga studio and gym, outdoor botanical courtyard and Seven North restaurant by Israeli chef Eyal Shani. This also marks the first London site for The Cover members’ club concept, inclusive of a social space, botanical bar, and a dedicated library for remote workers. A property in Milan is also due to open next spring.

9. art'otel London Hoxton

Already home to cutting-edge galleries and street art, live music and hip bars, in March 2024, this area of the city will see its newest resident - art'otel London Hoxton. This stylish, yet playful hotel has been given a bold makeover by signature artist D*Face, whose works fill the hotel's walls and halls. You’ll also spot two original Banksys and exciting pieces from up-and-coming artists in the dedicated hotel art gallery. When you’re not getting lost in art, head to the destination restaurant and bar with 360-degree views of the skyline, or relax in the rooftop-skimming gym and spa.

10. The Other House Covent Garden

Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, just moments away from its world-famous piazza, a new Residents’ Club is being constructed in one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.

Launching in winter 2024, whenever you stay at The Other House Covent Garden, you will enjoy interior-designed Club Flats, hotel services on tap and all the facilities of a private club – no membership required.
