The Gala 2024 of The Society of the Golden Keys of Great Britain and The Commonwealth is being held at The Londoner Hotel on Saturday, 3rd February, 2024.
As always, expect a night of fine dining and dancing and, of course, the always popular Auction and Raffle in aid of Hospitality Action.
Last year, concierge, their guests and a host of travel industry VIPs raised £11,855 for Hospitality Action with prizes kindly provided by hotels and business affiliates alike.
All money raised helps fund the excellent work done by the charity Hospitality Action, supporting a whole range of support services to help hospitality people back on their feet again after a setback. Les Clef’s d’Or GB has been a friend, partner, and supporter of Hospitality Action for many years.
Toru Machida, President of the Society reflects on the past year and looks forward to an exciting 2024.
He says: "I would like to thank all the members for their trust in me to lead the society for the fourth and the final year. It was delightful to see 4 passionate and energetic talents coming forward to apply for a committee role, which indicates how promising our future is. We also saw the society elevate to a new level and strengthen our commitment to the hospitality industry in 2023, partnering with the Institute of Hospitality for the concierge of The Year Award and participating in the London Hospitality Football Tournament."
Mr Machida added:"2024 will certainly be an exciting year as our calendar will see the 72nd Anniversary Cocktail Party and 68th UICH Les Clefs d'Or Congress in Bali to be held in April, followed by many more events. There is a partner behind every successful concierge. I would like to thank all partners for your ongoing support and understanding to the concierge profession, and tonight is your night. I wish you all a wonderful evening tonight to celebrate all the success in the past year and our bright future to come."
