In partnership with Golden Tours and The Tourism Media Group, the event was held to celebrate the 'remarkable Society and true hospitality DNA'.

During the evening, Terry Holmes, Executive Director at Red Carnation Hotels, gave a speech.

Society President, Toru Machida, said:

"We cannot thank Stuart Geddes, Simon Thomas and the team at The Lanesborough enough for their outstanding hospitality; and Terry Holmes for gifting us with the most inspirational speech."

History of The Society

In 1952, Les Clefs d'Or® International as we know it today was founded at the iconic Carlton Cannes during the first International Congress attended by concierge delegates from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and Great Britain.

Membership of The Keys allows members to network, not only nationally, but internationally through the Society's affiliation with 45 similar national organisations across the globe which make up L’Union Internationale des Concierges d’Hotels (UICH).

The Society's continuous efforts to give back to the community shone during the gathering as Jeremy Gibson, of Hospitality Action, was presented with a cheque for funds raised during the Society's February Annual Gala, bringing their historical total contribution to £93K: a figure the society is sure translates into "hope and relief for many hospitality professionals".
