The lovely Sonia Vella has left her position as Head Concierge at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower and is due to take her talents to The Peninsula London at the start of next month.
It's rumoured that Sahil Suri, Head Concierge at the recently-opened Park Hyatt London River Thames, will be moving to the Jumeirah. Watch this space....

New Chef to Join The Beaumont Mayfair
Brendan Fyldes has been appointed Executive Chef at the The Beaumont, taking responsibility for the hotel's new dining concepts, which are set to launch later this year.
Brendan joins The Beaumont Mayfair from Green & Fortune, where he was Chef Director, prior to which he was executive chef for GG Hospitality. The appointment marks the fourth time Brendan and The Beaumont Mayfair’s chief executive officer Stuart Procter, have worked together.
He brings exceptional experience to the role, having gained a Michelin star at L’Escargot with Marco Pierre-White, leading the launch of Bentleys with Richard Corrigan as Executive Chef and leading the five-star kitchen at The Stafford London.
