From multi-million pound transformations to new bar and restaurant openings, there's a new energy in the city's hospitality scene this month.
Major Transformation for London Hilton on Park Lane
The iconic London Hilton on Park Lane has announced the next phase of its multi-million-pound transformation.
Following the successful openings of British restaurant Park Corner Brasserie and Mayfair’s newest hotspot drinks destination, Revery, the hotel announces the opening of two new venues: MR PORTER London and Shanghai Me.
MR PORTER
In September, THE ENTOURAGE GROUP will unveil the first London outpost for MR PORTER, its acclaimed Amsterdam fine dining steakhouse, over the lower floor of the hotel. Blending three concepts in one, MR PORTER will offer a modern steakhouse experience with a chic bar and lounge. Guests will enter into an expansive central bar before making their way to the formal dining area which includes a lounge, chef’s table and open kitchen fire.
Shanghai Me
Fundamental Hospitality, Dubai’s leading luxury hospitality group, will continue its London expansion with the opening of Shanghai Me, a ‘Made in Dubai’ dining experience, on the hotel’s 28th floor at the end of the year.
The sky-high restaurant in Mayfair will exude Art Deco elegance and offer a pan-Asian dining experience served amidst unparalleled panoramic views of London. Shanghai Me will be complimented by the brands lounge concept, Bund. The opulent and richly decorated lounge spot embraces a high-energy atmosphere with 'eclectic beats'.

Oriole Heading for Covent Garden

Evenings will be soundtracked by live jazz, cabaret and world music, from some of the finest musicians in London.
When: Opens 28th August.
